November 2018 Athlete Spotlight

Name: Cheryl Fosness

Favorite exercise: Right now it is the clean and split jerk and rowing for the cardio.

Least favorite exercise: Overhead squats and wallballs.

Goal for next month: Learn how to do double unders with my new rope, learn toe to bars, and to continue to work on my weight loss.

What I love about IST: There is so much I love about IST. I have been a member of quite a few different gyms, but I got bored with the same routines all the time and I never really got to know people so there was no accountability. At the age of 50 something I had never touched a dumbbell or barbell. I love the feeling of getting stronger every week. I love the fact the everyday the workout will be new and different. Alex, Brendan, and Chris know who you are, what you are capable of and watch so you don't hurt yourself. I like the partner workouts because after a while there will always be someone you know to partner up with. Most of all I love the way I look and feel.

Hometown & Family members:

I have lived most of my life in Alborn, MN. I have 2 adult kids, 7 grandkids and a husband of 35 yrs.
