Least favorite exercise: Bulgarian split squat, supermans, front squats, the list is long...
Goal for next month: Take 1st place overall in the Open at IST.
What I love about IST: I've had the chance to do "Drop-in's" at five other CrossFit gyms now since I've started and I will definitely say I still like IST the most. From day one attending a boot camp class I loved the energy and the atmosphere that comes with IST. It was obvious that the coaches wanted you to succeed; they really want you to achieve what you've set out to do! The fact that every coach knows every single members name still amazes me. I love that!
I also love that I literally just have to show up, work hard and be coach-able to see results. After years of wondering around anytime fitness spending 2-3 hours there, seeing mediocre results. Crossfit was a blessing. I've lost almost 30 pounds and I've 15% body fat from the first day I walked into IST.
Having made many friends over the last year and a half at IST makes it fun to go back and forth battling for the heavier weight or the faster time, pushing each other to become better! Now that is fun!
Yeah some days suck, not every day can be your best day. But having great people surrounding each other to give a high five and cheer each other on make the bad days all the better.
