Friday Night Lights has been awesome so far. The first four workouts have challenged all of us and the suffering has brought us closer together. Spectators and new competitors have gained insight into the world of competitive CrossFit. For many new competitors, there will be struggles and possible frustration. We challenge you to take that frustration and turn it into a goal. Handstand push-ups got you down? Practice with a purpose. Cleans feeling heavy? Train with a purpose. Motor just isn't what you want it to be? Run/row/bike/swim/ski/climb with a purpose. Embrace the struggle. Take your weaknesses and make them your strengths. We can only improve from here, so let's continue to work for what we want!
I would like to thank all of the volunteers for helping with judging, set-up, take-down, and everything in between. We are so lucky to have a group of athletes that are willing to do anything for one another. I also need to thank Matt Johnson for all of the excellent work he has done with photographs and video. He has produced some of the coolest videos we have seen.
We have one workout left on Friday, March 25th. Come on in and check it out! The event will start around 5:00-5:30pm!
